what happens when you finish the game?
does it say something like "Congratulations for Finishing" or do u just know it when the entire maps explored, and all missions/quests are done? |

This is designed around the Arena/PVP aspect of the game. All those quests and stuff are just to make it worth while to play. Make you feel like you earned something. When all the maps are explored, and all 300 skills are bought, and all the crafting stuff has been done, you are only about half-way through the game. Try joining a guild and doing all the PVP you can handle. Thats what this game is about. It's not an MMORPG in the traditional sense. It's more of a MMO 3rd person team strategy fighting game.

Its not so much a game you finish as a game you compete in. Think of Homeworld 2 online, or perhaps one of the random FPS online you see. You dont 'finish' those games, but go online whenever you fancy a bit of a fight against other people.

How can you complete something that doesn't actually have an ending?

The main storyline does have an ending - but if you think the game ends there it's your loss.

True, It "ends" But its much like a chapter ending in a book, or reading book 1 of a series. Just because you end that chapter or that book, doesnt mean its "over". Really, it doesn't end.
But as for "End" being "I've gotten to level 20" There are still many many things to do.. its not like an arcade game where you get a large bonus, your name on a list and you set the game on a shelf and walk away. |

Even after the whole Ascension part of the game, you still have quests and such to do. And plenty of them too. So there's plenty to look forward to. There are all kinds of areas to explore, and bosses to fight, and quests to run. And, most importantly, lots and lots of PvP. If you haven't gotten into the PvP yet, it really is awesome. |

After the 20k Defending Quests...
I have two 20k quests remaining (it's so hard to find a group for the last two) and I'm wondering what happens after you finish the 4th 20k quest.
Does anybody know? Joe |

When you complete every mission, quest and bonus, you gain a special legendary item- the ploughshare, which will allow you to spend all of your time farming.
If you look closely in Augury Rock you will see loads of people who are rushing outside to use theirs and make the desert fertile again Tongue removed from cheek, I don't believe there is a special 'end game' scene other than the end of the Ring of Fire missions, but the story is set to continue in Factions anyway. |
